:- 1.0 out of 5 stars from KittyLou1961 -- Don't add up! : Its interesting the author recalling all her family history. It Wonderful to read about childhood innocence, and days gone by. I'm sure she experienced the heavenly and hellish visions. The true spiritual realm is very different than the one she describes. Okay, I am not sure who the voice really is or what it is. What is his name? Being a follower of Jesus Christ, who has always identified himself as the one true God, there's a great conflict going on here. In Jesus Christ heaven, no sin nor trangressors are allowed. We don't get to call the shots here. We don't get to march into God's kingdom filled and defiled with sin. What about the blood of Christ? Nothing is mentioned here. There's no where this voice states that Jesus Christ is his son. Clearly something is a miss here. Salvation leads us to the foot of the old ruggered cross. If one truly want to go to heaven and miss a very hot hell then just consider this book a good read! ( Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Galaxygal9 -- I couldn't stop reading this book! : This author is a great storyteller and I found her descriptions of her early life experiences as interesting as her description of what she saw in Hell, which was absolutely riveting. The scenes in Hell were grotesque and terrifying, and she describes what she saw in such vivid detail I felt like as if each scene was playing out in my mind like a movie. What was really interesting to me was seeing the parallels between her life experiences and her visions in Hell. I also found her attitude towards her exceptionally challenging life circumstances to be very inspiring. Themes of addiction, dysfunctional family interactions, sexual assault, evil and good resonate throughout so many lives today; but few authors deal with these with such wry humor. Her light writing style continually draws the reader deeper along the path toward the ultimate disclosures. It's a beautifully written honest and loving account of being in an induced coma for 3 weeks . Her journey in recuperating. Her sharing the beauty of her love of God and Heaven. I read this book in under 24 hrs. I couldn't put it down. I loved that this was not just a “drama read” with just her NDE experience; but rather, the before and after, with her full circle of understanding.
